For new builds, Seastate offers operability studies and simulations enabling operators to access the suitability of the vessel with or without motion control on a particular route. Where vessels are currently in operation, and passengers and crew comfort levels are unsatisfactory, studies can be undertaken to estimate the amount of improvement that can be obtained by using different types of motion control systems. This ensures that the installation of a motion control system will meet the operators’ requirements and, most importantly, the passengers expectations.

Once a motion control system has been selected for a particular vessel, Seastate is able to provide all the components direct to the shipyard for them to install or SeaState can be contracted to complete this work. Following installation, Seastate shall conduct suitable harbour trials and then sea trials to ensure that the system is operating at its optimal performance. Finally, Seastate can provide all the operational and maintenance support through the life of the system.
