The Company's leadership in the design and manufacture of high performance aluminium vessels is founded on this vision and through it Austal has developed a significant portfolio of aluminium shipbuilding expertise.

With yards in Western Australia and the United States of America, Austal provides one of the most substantial product bases of any shipbuilder worldwide.

As we look to the future, many new and exciting challenges lie ahead. Our outlook has broadened to include new markets and there are now Austal built vessels in almost every continent of the world.

Our fast ferries continue to lead the market but we now have the facilities and expertise to build a range of new products including cruise and military vessels.

Austal will continue to explore new concepts and technologies and seize the new century's opportunities as vigorously and enthusiastically as we did the last.
